How far would you go to get the lead role in your school musical? Well, eight-year-old Tina Denmark will do anything -- anything -- when it comes to fulfilling her dreams of stardom. When the leading lady of the school production is found "accidentally" hanged from the catwalk with a jump rope, housewife Judy Denmark finds that her perfect daughter might actually have horns underneath her halo. Spoofing classics like Gypsy and The Bad Seed, Ruthless! brings dark hilarity to San Diego's MOXIE Theatre. The musical won the New York Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical.
