The stakes couldn't be higher as bitter enemies Manrico and Count di Luna battle for the love of Leonora without the knowledge that they are actually brothers. A bounteous choral feast, this Pacific Lyric Opera production is led by acclaimed tenor Luis LIma, who has sung at Met Opera of New York and Covent Garden. Sung in Italian with English narration, Il Trovatore brings powerful vocals, vibrant costumes and evocative set design to the Center Theater at California Center for the Arts in Escondido.
