San Diego Theatres is a 501(c)3 non-profit, public benefit corporation established to manage and operate publicly-owned performing arts theatres. San Diego Theatres manages and operates the publicly-owned San Diego Civic Theatre and the historic Balboa Theatre. The Civic Theatre management is provided under the terms of an operating agreement with the City of San Diego. The Balboa Theatre management is provided under the terms of a lease agreement entered into with the City of San Diego's Redevelopment Agency.
